At Coupang, there are two types of coupons – instant and downloadable. Instant coupons apply directly to the products. Downloadable coupons, on your the other hand, apply when the total order amount reaches the amount set by the seller. Customers may download the coupons themselves.
Instant discount coupons are beneficial for capturing the customer’s attention by offering a lower price while downloadable coupons encourage customers to spend more by setting a threshold.
In order to set up your discount coupon, head to WING, your seller management portal, and navigate to ‘Promotions’ in the left hand menu. Under ‘Promotions’, select ‘Manage Discount Coupons’. When you set up your discount coupon, you will need to establish this month’s budget for your discount promotion. Upon reaching 90% of your monthly budget, your coupon feature will automatically pause.
Now, you’re ready to click ‘Create Coupon’. Select which type of coupon you wish to create and then enter the coupon promotion name. Then enter a date range, the application method (percentage, minimum spend or fixed amount) and the appropriate figure. Lastly, enter your option ID.
