Have you been notified that your product listing has been put on hold?
Please check the following reasons that can lead to pending registration and ask for another review. If your product is banned for (online) distribution under the current law or against Coupang’s policies, or may harm customer safety, we will not accommodate another review and appeal.
If you want another review for your product rejected for unverified distribution routes, please request product re-registration and check emails from the Coupang Trust and Safety Center.
1) If you have registered an incorrect brand name or no brand name
The product you have registered must have the same information as the actual product sold. Inputting a brand name irrelevant to to the product is prohibited. Also, providing insufficient product information may cause customer confusion. Please refer to ‘Help’ and modify the brand information.

2) If you have registered your product under an incorrect category
Registering an item under an irrelevant category is prohibited. Products under incorrect categories are rejected for registration. Modifying the category is unfeasible after registering the product. Please remove the listing and register your product under a correct category.

3) If you have registered used products under prohibited categories
Coupang allows used products in limited categories.
If you are selling used products, please check if the product falls under the below categories before re-registration.
▶ Categories allowed for used products: Books, Electronics/Appliances, Sports/Outdoor, Automotive, Kitchen, Furniture/Home

4) If you have used a popular trademark irrelevant to your product in the product name and the product content
Using a popular trademark irrelavant to the product to promote product exposure may result in pending registration as it is banned under Coupang’s terms and conditions. Please register a correct name of your product.
▶Example: In case of indicating popular brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Sulwhasoo irrelavnt to the product
5) If your product infringes intellectual properties (IP)
Products that may infringe intellectual properties such as trademark, design right, copyright, patent right and utility right are rejected for registration.
In case of repeated registration of IP infringing products, your account may be permanently suspended. You cannot appeal the decision after permanent suspension.
▶Case 1: Selling a similar product bearing an irrelavant brand logo when the product is not from the brand
▶Case 2: Using wordings such as A-grade, imitation, ‘identical to orinigal/ similarly produced’ in the product name and detail page
▶Case 3: Intentionally hiding a specific brand name, or trademark logo or design through blinding, etc.
▶Case 4: Inserting an irrelavnt brand logo to the product content or using a product name or keyword of a popular trademark
▶Case 5: Unauthorized copying of the appearance and design of products registered on the Korean Intellectual Property Office
▶Case 6: IP infringing products that may harm customer safety

Fake products reported for alleged trademark infringement by IP rights holders or suspected counterfeits are prohibited for sale. Please check the genuinity of your products before registration.
6) If your product listing has been rejected for insufficient proof of distribution routes
If you don’t submit proof of distribution routes within 10 business days after our review is initiated*, or if our review finds the proof insufficient to verify the distribution routes, your product listing will be rejected.
▶ If you want to appeal for your rejected product, ask for re-registration. We will distribute a separate notification email within two business days after the requested date.
